ABOUT THE BRAND– Tacit is an online gallery and art consultancy dedicated to works by female artists. Tacit was born out of recognizing the disparity in the art industry between women and men - where art by women artists accounts for a mere 2% of the art sold. As such, Tacit's mission is to amplify female creatives in a way that is approachable to emerging art collectors. To provide artists with the resources to access an engaged audience in an effort to stimulate an enhanced appreciation for female-made art.

CHALLENGE– Tacit, an online gallery and art consultation firm founded and led by women, needed a visual brand identity overhaul in 2021 as they were changing their name. They were looking for an elevated and sophisticated direction that held authority in the art space while remaining classic and timeless.
SOLUTION– To help Tacit achieve their desired brand direction, I led a brand intensive with the client and completed the project within 2-3 weeks. I assisted in the visual aspects while also consulting with the client on the overall brand direction and how to bring that strategy into the visual brand identity. The rebrand included a new visual identity system, including a new logo, typography suite, color palette, and other key visual elements. We also updated their website and social media to elevate their visual presence.
RESULTS– The Tacit rebrand was well-received and successfully helped them achieve their desired elevated and sophisticated brand direction. Their updated visual presence on their website and social media helped them stand out in the art space and attract new clients. The new visual identity system also provided them with a strong foundation for future brand growth and development.
